the name

I thought for a long time about what to name "The Blog". Seems silly I know. I thought up different names like "the gypsy lovers" but then it just sounded like we love gypsies or something rather than we were lovers, gypsy being the adjective. . I just hate "sameness" and so simply saying "the sturgills" or  just our plain names didn't fit either. I have a fear of conforming which is ironic considering how much of conformists we are as human beings.
One day lightning will strike and the blog name may change but for now, it is simply "Indigo & Donny". Both of these names are names that we came up with in our earlier lives. Indigo Blaze was my superhero alter-ego's name... Donny Tonner was Brad's pro football alter-ego name. It seems simple and kind of silly but I like to think these names capture the ideal "us". Donny Tonner captures the quintessential Brad at his best, just as Indigo Blaze does mine. The core "us" at our strongest and bravest... I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone else.
